Dear Sir,
I read with interest some time
ago the questionnaire, published in Whispers 4, and,
more recently, the replies of some of your readers. I would like to add a few
views and suggestions of my own but I will limit my comments to C.P. in
educational establishments.
I believe that corporal
punishment in girl’s schools should be for mature sixth form girls, aged 16-19
for whom it should be the normal punishment. It should be administered at the
end of a formal weekly 6th form two-hour detention by the Headmaster, with the
Deputy Teacher, in charge of the detention, still present. Any teacher, male or
female, should have the right to award detention but the Duty Teacher should be
chosen from a short list of senior masters.
The normal punishment should be
six strokes of the cane but correct retention of position during caning should
be strictly adhered to, with each stroke not received to the complete
satisfaction of the Headmaster, caning two strokes of the tawse after all girls
at detention have been caned.
Prefects should not be exempt
from detention, with especially good work and behaviour expected from them, but
if they transgress, they should receive ten strokes of the cane rather than the
normal six. Any girl appealing for three detentions or more in any one term
should receive double the normal number of strokes for her at the third and any
subsequent detentions thereafter in that term.
All canings and tawsings should
be administered to a completely bare bottom. For any girl’s first three
detentions in the sixth form, she should be dressed in a uniform of blouse,
tie, skirt, white knee socks and black shoes with a small heel, the only underclothes
allowed being a pair of school knickers.
The skirt and knickers should
be removed by each girl after written and/or oral work has been completed,
immediately before her punishment.
For the fourth and any
subsequent detentions, any girl should spend the full detention period
completely bare-bottomed. The numbering of detentions served should be carried
through from the beginning of a girl’s sixth form career until she leaves, with
no renumbering at the beginning of a second or third year. Prefects should
always spend the full period bare-bottomed, however few detentions they have
been awarded previously. It should be expected that, by the time of leaving
school, 75% of girls would have served at least one punishment detention, with
33% of the total having appeared at least once bare-bottomed throughout.
Out of a total of 150 in the
sixth form, an average of 5 should be expected at detention in any week with
one girl on average likely to serve bare-bottomed, the latter particularly in
the second half of the year.
Behaviour during caning should
be disciplined and according to rules laid down. On being called forward for
punishment, after written/oral work, each girl, on hearing her name should take
off her skirt and knickers, if she is wearing them, and step up to the
platform, to stand at the end of the punishment table, behind which the
Headmaster and Duty Master are still seated. She should stretch herself out
over the table’s full length, gripping the far end with her wrists, making sure
her legs are straight. A short girl would need to stand on tiptoe to reach the
far end whilst a very tall girl would need to stretch her legs out a long way
behind the end of the table, whilst keeping them straight. Before each stroke,
the Headmaster should say ‘Bottom up’, at which the girl should raise her
bottom an inch or two from the table to meet the cane, which, having received,
she should say ‘One, thank you, sir,’ or ‘two, thank you sir,’ and so on. After
the final stroke, she should remain in position until the Headmaster speaks to
her.
Humiliation is an essential
part of punishment both before the actual detention and during it. A major
humiliation is, of course, for some girls to be completely bare-bottomed for a
full two hour period in the presence of the Duty Master but other humiliation
would also be good for discipline and I suggest a few below.
1. On awarding a sixth form
detention, the teacher should complete an appropriate form for the girl to take
to the school secretary at the end of lessons for the day. The secretary,
having kept the girl waiting, should enter her name and offence in the Detention
Book, making a note of other sixth form detentions previously served, if any.
The girl, who should be wearing the regulation sixth form skirt to the knees,
should then be given a much shorter one, which should reach barely to
mid-thigh, the length worn by girls below the sixth form. She should be
required to change into the short skirt in the Secretary’s office. From then
on, the whole school, staff and pupils alike would know that she was to receive
a caning, because of the short skirt.
2. On the morning of the sixth
form detention day, the Headmaster would read out the surnames of girls for
detention. They should leave the body of the assembly and stand in a line on
the platform at the front of the Hall, as directed by the Headmaster, either at
attention at the front of the platform facing the school wall, hands on head.
3. In each sixth form
classroom, written at the side of the blackboard, there should be a
heading Detention Today under which should be given the
surnames of the girls due to attend. Any girl serving a fourth (or more)
detention or any prefect would have the words Bare-bottomed in
brackets after their names.
4. The girls should line up at
attention 15 minutes prior to the detention, outside the detention room which
ideally should be near to the Staff Room. The girls should be wearing the
prescribed uniform except that any girl for bare-bottomed detention should have
her knickers in her hand. At this stage, she should still retain her skirt.
5. All girls at detention
should be addressed by their surnames.
6. The Duty Master should open
the detention room door at exactly the prescribed time. Those girls serving
detention one to three (and not prefects) should be ordered to sit on chairs
behind normal school desks. Any girl or girls for bare-bottomed detention
should be ordered to hand over both skirt and knickers to the Duty Master who
should place them in a drawer underneath his table and lock it. They should
then be ordered to sit at much smaller desks, with narrow backless seats
attached over which their buttocks would overflow, particularly if they were of
the ample variety.
7. On each desk should be
appropriate instructions for each girl in respect of written and/or memorising
work to be done. When there are any girls at a particular detention
bare-bottomed, the Headmaster should appear from time to time to ask them
mental arithmetic or spelling questions holding a tawse in his hand. Each
incorrect or delayed answer should be rewarded by two strokes of the tawse to
the buttocks overflowing the backless seat of the desk.
8. At the end of the written
work/memorising period, the Headmaster should finally return to the room to
carry out punishment. First, though, he should check the work they have done.
He should examine the written work. First, awarding strokes of the tawse, as
appropriate, at the end of detention, if he finds the work unsatisfactory. He
should then come to the memorised work. Often a poem or other piece of
literature to be learned. The girl concerned should be ordered to give her
recitation either standing on her chair or seat back or occasionally, standing
on top of the table in front of the Headmaster and Duty Master. Unsatisfactory
recitation should entail repetition until the Headmaster is satisfied, at which
time he should announce the number of strokes of the tawse to be given later
for the poor memorising.
9. A variation on the procedure
in paragraph 8 might be applied to a normally very well-behaved girl, a
prefect, who is the best mathematician in the school, but who has seemed to
slacken off work slightly in the middle of the second term in her second year
and for which slackening has been awarded her first detention, at the age of 18
years and three months, by the Senior Mathematics Master, who just happens to
be the Duty Master in the week concerned. She completes her written work
satisfactorily even though embarrassed thoroughly by appearing totally
bare-bottomed in front of her Maths Master and the Head. She should be ordered
after hearing that her written work was acceptable, to stand on a chair, on the
platform beside the punishment table, and recite her two times table, as a
consequence of the immaturity she had shown, in the relaxing of her work. The
two men should leave the platform to sit at seats in the body of the classroom
so that the girl would be facing them as well as the other girls at detention.
They should express dissatisfaction with her efforts for either rushing the
table or not speaking clearly enough or not standing still on the chair with
head erect. They should not be satisfied until the fifth recital of the table.
She should then be awarded two strokes of the tawse for later and, moreover,
should be told to remain standing on the chair until her turn for caning comes.
Since she would be standing to the right of the table, the Headmaster would
have a good view of her rear, if he cared to look at it between giving strokes
to the other girls’ bottoms. With girls being punished by age, youngest first,
the girl would probably be kept standing on the chair until she was punished
last.
10. I have given earlier in
this letter suggestions as to how the canings should be carried out. When the
appropriate number of strokes have been given, the Headmaster should inform the
girl of any strokes of the tawse she has earned for poor discipline during
caning. These will be added to any previously awarded for poor
written/recitation work. She should then be told to leave the table to make a
line with the other girls near to the back of the room, behind the desks, all
girls at attention with hands on heads. Any girl not to be tawsed should first
put on skirt and knickers before joining the line, always providing of course,
that she was not at bare-bottomed detention. Any girl to be tawsed would have
to stand in the line, still without skirt or knickers.
11. With the girls caned and
now in line, each to be tawsed should be called for by name in turn to the
punishment table and given the appropriate number of strokes, to return, after
the tawsing, to her place in the line, still without skirt and knickers.
12. Back in line, all the girls
who had earned the tawse should be ordered to bend down to touch their toes
whilst those who had not been given the tawse should remain at attention, hands
on head. The Headmaster should ask each of the tawsed girls three mental
arithmetic, spelling or general knowledge questions, each incorrect answer
being rewarded by a further two strokes of the tawse, this time one to the back
of each thigh.
13. All except any girls at
bare-bottomed detention should be allowed to get dressed now and all girls
should stand at attention again in line, for ten full minutes. What a fine
sight one bare-bottomed girl in a line of say, 6 girls, the other 5 fully dressed,
would be!
14. Any girl who had broken
down crying during punishment should serve the 10 minute period at attention
with a dummy in her mouth.
15. The final indignity should
be that, during the 10 minutes at attention, one or more of the girls
(sometimes all) should be ordered to undo her blouse to show that she had been
properly dressed for detention, without a bra.
16. Any bare-bottomed girl
should now be given her skirt (still the short one) and knickers back before
the girls are dismissed. The short skirts should be returned to the School
Secretary the morning after detention.

Dear Sirs,
I’ve bought every copy of
the Blushes publications. The photographs are without question
becoming more exciting. I write in quite often and occasionally you have
acknowledged my letters. Please give us photos of girls fully clothed with just
buttocks bared and tiny knickers unable to cover the bottom.
I also love the contrast of sore soft fleshy bottoms on hard cold wooden benches. Perhaps we could see some low angle shots of bums on benches.
I am a CP enthusiast with a
healthy sex life but I’m obsessed with photos of tightly-pantied bums ready for
a spanking.
