The characters of Alice and Pippa in Culver's excellent story The Belles of St Mark’s and his accompanying illustration put me very much in mind of the two miscreants in this Calstar movie. A lovely pair — one blonde and the other a brunette with a goth/punk look and a sullen attitude — even if the man punishing them is not at all to my taste nor in keeping with the spirit of St Mark's. They even wear stripy socks.
Nik has two trustees that have been smuggling illicit goods on their trips to and from his house. When he learns about it he’s furious and decides to teach them a bit of discipline. He uses his hand, a paddle, a strap and a cane. He also decides to use the enema on one of them who remains a bit uppity for his liking.

ReplyDeleteI think this is the first time I've seen this one. Not a fan of enemas but the canings are a pleasure to watch - obviously an ordeal for the blonde girl in particular. Yes, even given the American context I can spot physical resemblances between my characters Alice and Pippa. The man punishing them is indeed of a different world to St Marks, like a young Steve Buscemi and not to my taste either - but with a certain sadistic aptitude, to give him his due.
