Carrying on the Lesson theme from last week , we will have a month of the vintage “lessons” videos this September. This was actually the second one released, a short and sweet one set in the gym. It was promoted via a review by John Donnelly in Janus 8.07. The first four films had no sound (or at least dialogue) I’m afraid. Yes, they’ve done it again the HM - Lukas team have come up with another real winner — The Gym Lesson . Following the runaway success of their first epic, The Riding Lesson , we managed to persuade Marks and Lucas to produce another movie for you, and some people have remarked to me that it’s even better than before.
