Dr Forster Takes a Look
From Uniform Girls 15
‘Had old Forster look her over, of course; give the whole
thing a feel of respectability, don’t you know?’
‘Respectability? I thought Forster had been struck off.’
‘Oh, well, yes — he has, but the girl isn’t to know that,
is she. Nor her father.’
‘Thought he was her stepfather.’
‘Stepfather. Sorry — hadn’t realised we were being pedantic.’
‘Not pedantic, old boy — just that I like to know what’s
what. Don’t see what it’s got to do with him, anyway; I thought she was beyond
the age of needing her guardian’s consent — beyond the age where she even
needed a guardian, for that matter.
‘Well, I’m not quite sure about that aspect of it. Still, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen — what’s the difference? So long as someone’s signed the enrolment forms, eh?’
‘I suppose so. What did Forster do with her then? Make her
strip off, eh?’
‘Well, I did ask him to ‘look her over’ — couldn’t very
well do that if he didn’t have her in the buff.’
‘Don’t see how he could do it if he did; he can’t see his hand in front of his face, even with his glasses.’
‘No — well perhaps he does it by feel instead.’
‘I dare say he does; damned sure I would. Anyway, what’s she like, hmm? Pretty one, is she? Nice little handful?’
‘Yes, quite. Forster took some photos, you know. During the medical.’
‘Photos? Have you got ‘em then?’
‘They’re in Matron’s office, I should think.’
‘Are they? Well then, I think you’d better let your old friend have a look —’

Something strangely unsexy about this one by Blushes standards.Still, they all need caning.
ReplyDelete(Just how many girls were stripped off in that room with the black and white tiled floor. It's in so many photosets. With Alan Bell's famous taped square and crosses from Reform School Discipline: 'If you DO step out of your square. I shall strap your legs!')
She may not be the prettiest girl, though she is one familiar from other Blushes magazine appearances, but nevertheless I find this presentation pleasingly provocative and intriguing. I mean what, exactly, is it all about? The salaciously suggestive text and accompanying photographs really exist as just a springboard for the reader's own flights of fancy. Mention of 'enrolment forms' invites one to suppose that this is some kind of induction process for an educational establishment or, to be more clear about it, some kind of faux induction process for an educational establishment which doesn't really exist. Well, maybe something which very loosely could be described as a 'finishing school' perhaps but not one that has any real concrete existence, but rather just takes the form of a number of gatherings in various gentlemen's residences. As the text states, it's all just a means of conferring a veneer of 'respectability' on matters. Ditto, the 'medical inspection'. Not quite sure where 'matron' comes in, however. She seems a bit surplus to requirements really so I'll disregard her.
ReplyDeleteWhat I think we're really dealing with here is a gentlemen's 'club' Of course, I'm not talking about some old aristocratic haunt in Pall Mall or St James or wherever (although there could be some crossover of interests) but just a bunch of chaps coming together to share certain resources for each other's mutual benefit and satisfaction. Maybe this fellow is feeling a little guilty or anxious about the prospect of offering up his 'step daughter' as the price of admission to 'the club'? It could be that the obvious fiction of a formal 'enrolment' process and a medical inspection calms the nerves somewhat by allowing him to pretend that everything's 'above board' etc. Deep down, however, he knows that the heady excitement he feels at the thought of young 'Mary' (or whatever her name might be) being subject to the same activities and practices club membership will permit him to take part in with other members' girls far outweigh any misgivings he might harbour. Or maybe it's the mingled sensations of guilt and excitement which makes it all so intoxicating?
I am greatly amused by the thought of a myopic 'struck off' doctor performing the medical inspection. My mind immediately went to the drunken, short-sighted, pebble-lensed medic in the film Steptoe and Son Ride Again who is brought in by Harold to certify the old man as dead for an insurance swindle. Just the thought of a fellow like that closely examining a girl, feeling his way around her, as the text mentions, peering into certain crevices or whatnot, before pronouncing her fit for 'training'.

I too find this story quite intriguing and your imagined 'club' certainly fits it well, revisiting the classic themes of the original Guardians Club. She may not be pretty but her slight chubbiness is attractive to me - a good firm caning is required. And her obedience, keeping her legs apart for the inspection, is to be applauded.
DeleteI forgot to mention the stunning final picture - the magazine frontispiece with the 'candidate' nakedly sprawled face down upon the table, the blurred, shaken quality of the photograph creating a very atmospheric and dynamic effect. Yes, I feel the club members' appetites will be very much whetted by such a presentation.
DeleteYes, indeed, this is the point where the cane has done its job in persuading the 'candidate' to present herself in the required manner for their final 'test'. Let the dog see the rabbit, so to speak. Senior club members are, of course, happy to volunteer their services to ensure that the girl's stepfather has put up a suitable contribution to become a club member.
