I indulged in an overly busy look for this piece, inspired by the VHS jacket cover for Finishing School Discipline #4 (see Mr Evans' post of 24 Sept). My focus, though, was on Amy Watson and Philippa Thompson, my personal favourites from the Finishing School series. Since Basil Sterling's Basil Fawlty persona goes down like a lead balloon, it seemed right to subject Watson and Thompson to the humourless devices of one of Blushes' finest, drafted in on Special Measures.
