Dear Editor, Many congratulations on Blushes 27 , the photography in Posture and Discipline was excellent. One could almost feel the tension in that living room— and the heat! — as Veronica was spanked. It must be difficult to get a new angle on our favourite subject which is taboo in certain quarters; I do find a naughty girl being spanked in front of an open fire to be one of the most erotic situations. I would dearly love to see some more of the same session, I bet Mr Mildmore had Veronica standing in front of that fire, hands along the mantlepiece; he might even have given the fire a prod with a poker just to get things nice and hot! Or perhaps she had to bend in front of the fire for ten minutes or so; it did say in the story that her bottom was ‘fire-warmed’ and ‘fire-relaxed’. Perhaps in future editions we might see some more fireside situations? I do hope so! There has been a great deal of talk about titty dipping, quit...

Artwork — Hardcastle specials 1

More orphaned artwork, this time some full-page drawings by Hardcastle that featured in mid-range Janus. Beautifully drawn, these are largely self-explanatory so I shan’t labour the message. Firstly, this one from Janus 47, billed as ‘a Christmas treat’ entitled  The Cult : Next, from Janus 55, is  Yearning : And finally for this week, from Janus 57 (‘a heart-warming winterscape’) is  Whispering Snowflakes :

I’m going back to the beginning on the Join the Dots concept. This is the original letter from Blushes Supplement 6 that prompted a series of over 40 photo-sets with associated letters or stories which appeared in Blushes, Blushes Supplement, Uniform Girls and Whispers over the subsequent years. The first four in the series were numbered. This one featured the finest of the Blushes models (discuss). Dear Editor, Each issue of your magnificent magazine has been breath-taking. The photography is of the highest standard. The posing of the models superb. A combination of brilliant professionalism on the part of both director and models. The anguish on the models’ faces is the best ever produced by a C.P. magazine. People complain about lack of stripes showing on each caned bottom. You are restricted, of course, in how far you can go. We should all realise and be thankful you show as much as is possible. My personal tastes are ...
