No less than four of Uncle George’s discoveries this week. To quote George himself: "These four, all from one edition, suggest to me an elderly chap enjoying his domestic guardianship of two nubile teens." Or (my suggestion) could this be the Rev Tristram Smithers with two of his Young Adventurers?
Either way, it’s crying out for a story to explain what’s
going on if anyone feels like getting creative…

ReplyDeleteIndeed. And the two teens have been nicely cowed into the stage where they do as they’re told and take their punishment nicely. The girl in the final picture dutifully ready with the hiker’s friend. The other knows it is at the ready and looks delightfully distressed at her thought of its impending application to her, first.

ReplyDeleteMarvellous depictions. As in many of his written pieces and films, in his artwork Mr Bell certainly seemed to have the knack of capturing the joyous essence of girl training as a pastime for middle aged and elderly gents (of a certain social and economic standing, of course!)
ReplyDeleteWhere our gentleman is seated in the final picture, attending assiduously to towelling right in between the girl’s legs: this bears a very close to resemblance to a photograph of a naked girl in the Buzzee-Bees story in Blushes Supplement 27. The girl has her hands on her head in the photograph so she can’t interfere.
