Artwork — Paula Meadows’ Fessée covers 3
Here is the final batch of Paula Meadows covers from Fessée magazine.
Issue 9:
What an enticing beauty she is. Interesting that the
viewpoint being portrayed by Paula is that of a man (and not a particularly
good-looking one, judging by the reflection in the mirror.)
Issue 10:
Dressed like that she was just asking for some nautical
punishment. The guy on the dinghy in the background is enjoying the view and
who can blame him.
Issue 11:
She is dressed perfectly to give him his birthday present. I
hope he appreciates it. Or is it maybe her birthday…?
Fessee had a slightly different style and tone to its sister magazine, Janus, and competing titles in the same genre. These lovingly drawn and coloured illustrations embodied that.
ReplyDeleteHi Colin. Always good to read your excellent comments.
ReplyDelete(are you thinking of Februs? Sister magazine to Janus. Fessée I think was an independent production based in Brighton I see from my copies. Number 9 was my favourite, there was a nice blonde in that being dealt with; there was also a lovely trailer of her at the end of Fessée 8: just one full page picture there where she is desperately trying and failing to keep her bra on. Too late as it’s being ripped away from her and we see her fearful expression and her surprised bared little tits. One of my favourite of all cp mag pictures)
