Ha! Ha! 6th picture down. There's our old friend George Canford, from Girl Training 1998 and a number of other Blushes photo sets (as well as the film Big Girls Do Cry!), furtively slipping out of the sex shop there, latest spanking mag purchase in hand.
Yes, good spot! I like that sly, salacious glance he's casting in Jackie's direction. In countless visits to the Janus Shop in Soho, back in the day, I don't think I ever once spotted a lone female shopper like Jackie. The sex shop in the cartoon caters to wider tastes but it obviously foregrounds bdsm wares. Reminds me a bit of some of the other stores that used to be (still are?) peppered around Soho. The image of the burly guy at the counter makes me chuckle too. A recognisable type. Paula Meadows must have known her way around such establishments. I like her artwork and think that her drawings of Jackie illustrate her tendency to sketch idealised likenesses of herself in the faces of her heroines.
