It's good to see the Master in charge of Detention harangue a girl whose knickers have already been taken down. Make her cry even before giving her the tawse.
Despite the master's best efforts this girl still looks rather defiant to me. Slouching with elbows on the desk, chin resting in her hands. She should be sitting upright, hands neatly folded in her lap and paying proper attention. I would have her standing, hands on head, skirt off, a lick of the tawse across the back of her thighs if she moves an inch.
